Applied Logic Remote Camera Control software

 

A PC application that allows control of Sony LANC-based cameras and monitoring of the video signal from a remotely connected camera

Combined with the ALE LANC controller, this software gives the user the ability to remotely monitor and control Sony or Canon video cameras equipped with the LANC interface.  The software provides access to the following functions:

             * Zoom In                                                               * Play

             * Zoom Out                                                            * Record

             * Manual / Auto Focus                                            * Rewind

             * Focus In                                                              * Fast Forward

             * Focus Out                                                            * Stop

             * Manual / Auto White Balance

             * Manual White Balance Set

             * Power Up from sleep mode

             * Power camera off

 

In addition, the software displays the real time video signal from the camera.  The timecode from the camera is also displayed on the PC screen to indicate the tape position.

Requirements:

 

 * PC running Microsoft XP or Microsoft Vista

 * A video camera that is LANC compatible (most Sony and some Canon cameras)

 * ALE’s LANC controller (sold separately)

 * A compatible USB to RS-232 convertor if the PC does not have a hardware serial port

 * A compatible USB to composite video convertor (optional to view real time video on PC)
